IT'S SIGN UP TIME FOR OUR BIG AIM:  100 cities/towns in NZ

On our website www.whistlenz.org is a map of New Zealand.

Around the map are listed about 100 cities/towns.

As people sign up to stand in the gap for their city/town a red heart will be placed beside that name.

So......go to our website.

•         Click 100 Cities/Towns.  There you will find the sign up form.
•         Type in your name plus the name of your city/town.
•         Even if others have already registered your city/town, we want to hear  from YOU!
•         We will add numbers after the heart to show how many others from your city/town have contacted us.
  

If your town/area is not mentioned in the 100 cities/towns, please register and we will add it in.

In whatever way you are standing in the gap (see Whistle Email Letter 4) during the 40 days - we want to hear from you.

ABORTION PRAYER ROOM:

In Hamilton we are setting up a prayer room with different prayer 'stations' to stimulate prayer and increase awareness of the issue of abortion in NZ.

This will be 'launched' at 10am on 10th day of the 10th month, in conjunction with the regional, interdenominational Solemn Assembly we are holding during the weekend of 10-12 October. (for all details about this Solemn Assembly see the notice posted on our Whistle website or go to -

After that weekend the prayer room will be available by appointment for individuals or groups, e.g. youth groups, cell groups, until the end of October.

Could you consider setting up an abortion prayer room, 24-7 style, in your church, city/town?

CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL FOR THE ISSUE OF ABORTION

10 HOURS, 10TH DAY OF 10TH MONTH, FROM 10 PM                                    

          (10pm Friday 10^th Oct to 8am Saturday 11^th Oct)

Tithe to the Lord 10 hours of your week - Join the watch of the Lord all night

                       No food: this is a holy fast - For Christians

This vigil is being run in conjunction with the Solemn Assembly in Hamilton.

COULD YOU BE THE ONE TO RUN A SIMILIAR CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL IN YOUR CITY/TOWN?

IMAGINE THOUSANDS OF LIGHTS ALL OVER NZ - LIGHTS SHINING INTO THE DARKNESS OF ABORTION.

It's now ONE MONTH until the start of the 40 days prayer/fasting.

The 40 days prayer booklets will be available late September or beginning of October.

May God bless you as you prepare, as you pass on the information, as you consider all of the above ways

to be involved and gather others in to pray.

Let's encourage the under 30 year olds - those born after the passing of the law 1977 - to pray.

One woman, on hearing about Whistle 40 days, said she was going to buy a whistle, wear it around her neck and tell people, who asked the reason why, about the abortion issue. $2 shops have whistles. Does this capture the imagination of any one else?
