WHISTLE
- Letter No 12
30 October, 2008
WHISTLE
· A branch of HealNZ 24/7 prayer, with a specific focus on prayer
regarding abortion in NZ.
· Announcing "FULL TIME" to abortion in NZ.
· Arranged
by Sue Rowe and The Whistle Team, coordinated from Hamilton.
·
"He lifts up a banner for the distant
nations, He whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Here they come swiftly and speedily!" (Is 5:26)
WE NOW HAVE 121 CITIES/TOWNS COVERED WITH PRAYER!!!
I BELIEVE WE CAN SAY THERE IS 100% COVERAGE OF THE NATION IN PRAYER
RE ABORTION.
(Although Gore,
New Plymouth, Turangi and Ohakune have not been adopted.)
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU FOR THE WAY YOU HAVE RESPONDED TO THE CALL TO ADOPT!
IT HAS BEEN AMAZING RECEIVING THE EMAILS.
SOME CITIES/TOWNS HAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON ADOPTING, LOVING, THEM.
I BELIEVE THIS IS PART OF LOOSING A SPIRIT OF ADOPTION OVER NZ.
We have stretched the intercessory tent
curtains (through sign ups and adoption) over the nation, from Cape Reinga to Stewart Is - north, south, west and east.
We will not hold back in any way. May our cords of commitment holding this tent in place
be lengthened to accommodate all God wants to do in/through
us to hold this tent taut and in good shape. May
our stakes of resolve, be strengthened and pushed deeper into Christ Jesus, to hold all firmly in place, both during these 40 days, and beyond, for whatever He may call us to
do after the 40 days. (see Isaiah 54:2)
This is a great place to be half way through the 40 days.
- This is Whistle number 12, dated 30th Oct.
- 12 stands for "complete, perfect government or rule, divine government, apostolic
government."
- 30 stands for "consecration, maturity for ministry"
Please Pray: for the complete, perfect government and rule to be taken up by those
involved in prayer for the abortion issue as we
continue to consecrate ourselves and come into maturity for this ministry and fully reflect the divine government here on earth in NZ.
Remember the ~
NEW WEB PAGE called Prayer Reports:
Several - groups and individuals - have
emailed a summary of the leading they received as they have prayed. A couple of prophetic words are included.
You can build on these reports by praying about the issues they write about.
If you write a brief summary of your
prayer meeting about abortion we will include it also.
On Tuesday 28th, I was praying Genesis 1, the scripture for that
day, and found myself comparing each day's creation
to each week of our 40 days.
I
welcomed the Holy Spirit to hover over NZ, over the abortion issue, all those involved in the 40 days, over Hamilton and the towns I had adopted, over the whole Body of Christ
- over EVERYTHING that is formless and empty
(of understanding of abortion) and dark; over the surface of the deep misunderstanding regarding abortion that exists in NZ. Into, and over, this darkness may God speak
His Light that will illuminate and even shock people into reality and truth and move millions in NZ from darkness to light as a paradigm shift occurs. Like the first day, this is the first thing that needs to occur.
This is what we did, in part, during our first week of'
prayer.

IMPORTANT FROM GISBORNE:
The local paper had a story on an inside page, (maybe Friday 17th).
The local District Health Board announced abortions starting
next year at Gisborne Hospital. The CEO of the Board said abortions would only be considered after extensive counselling. The Abortion Supervisory Committee had drawn the DHB's attention to the fact that they were one of
two Boards not providing the abortion service. They were
'leaning' on them telling them they have to co-operate because there was currently no local consultation.
The local
prayer group took the newspaper article to the House of Prayer and laid it before the Lord as Hezekiah did in Isaiah 37:14-20. They invited the Courts of Heaven to intervene, for
wisdom to know how to respond: by letter or face-to-face
or ??? Verse 36 tells how an angel arose
and intervened. The group also prayed Ps 106:37-39,
29-31, verses in a report from Hamilton on the website Prayer Reports.
The comment made was that they are wrestling with a lying spirit,
a spirit of deception, BUT GOD is bringing the
victory to pass.
Please join in prayer for Gisborne in this
battle.
WHICH IS THE OTHER DHB THAT IS BEING URGED TO SET UP AN ABORTION CLINIC?????
CANDLE LIGHT VIGILS:
RED BEACH ~ Simmone wrote:
We began the vigil at 10pm (on 10th) by lighting a candelabra and then began a two hours
group and intercession time ending in communion.
We went to 8am with individual prayer slots and communion available. It was a very precious time of worshipping the Lord and pleading with Him for mercy for our nation and
an end to the murder of our unborn babies.
PALMERSTON
NORTH ~ Kathy wrote:
We had an abbreviated candle light vigil from 9-10.30pm. About 25 people gathered around the altar which was lit with candles and the church was darkened, save for the light on
the cross. We started with prayer and the song Embryo
with pictures of the unborn projected on the wall of the church. We read Luke 1:26-38 and followed that by another music/picture show of the song 'Mary do you know?'.
After a time of sharing and prayer we replayed Embryo
and closed the meeting at 10.30pm.
GREYMOUTH ~ Janice wrote:
There was a mistake with the date and we met on Saturday 11th! We met at noon with an hour of prayer and seeking the Lord about abortion in this land. One lady had
read about putting on God's armour and we felt we certainly
needed to do that as we had real opposition before even getting to the church to pray. We had a table of candles and as we sat around this had a really good hour of prayer.
As we embark
on the second half of these 40 days, let's keep focused on Jesus and the task He has placed before us. Let us not waver or be tempted in any way to do less than what His
is requiring of us both as individuals and collectively
as intercessors across the nation.
May God surround you and your family with His favour as with a shield. (Ps 5:12)
