WHISTLE 24/7 PRAYER: LETTER 2 ~ 5 Dec '08

There are 32 signed up so far with a spread over the nation from Whangarei to Dunedin.

Currently this is how the week looks 

Mondays:    6 hours covered

Tuesdays:   4

Wednesdays:    3

Thursdays:    1

Fridays:    5  (two of these are more than one person)

Saturdays:    8

Sundays:    5  (one of these is more than one person)

I am seeing this group as the spearhead:

·         keeping the momentum

·         keeping the advantage gained during the 40 days

·         keeping the offensive prayer

 Coming in behind are the unknown number who pray from time to time about abortion.

 I see them as representing the shaft of the spear.

        Isaiah 49:2

        "He made my mouth like a sharpened spear,

        in the shadow of His hand He hid me;

        He made me into a polished arrow

        and concealed me in His quiver."

An email - a word from a German pastor - was forwarded to me via Jerusalem.

Some key points:

God is calling for "a great world-wide mobilization".

He is "calling people out from all peoples"

He says "the foundation of today's society will be shaken....every infrastructure

and welfare will collapse with time...."

I see this Whistle 24/7 prayer network as part of the mobilization, people

coming out from other peoples to pray.

Coalition For Life.

    A meeting is planned for Wednesday 10th December, in Auckland, for various invited, key 

    people (15 so far), representing pro-life groups, to discuss strategy for 2009 and with the

    new government.

Please pray for this meeting:

·         for corporate humility = unity, strong relationships

·         God's strategy to be revealed, His timing, His leadership, outworking 

·         protection of those involved, their families, and for travel.

Tania emailed me about a dream she had 3am Tues 2nd December.

I dreamt a man was sitting on the end of my bed and as I lay staring at him, he motioned me to look

beside me.  As I turned, I saw a tiny pair of hands reach out from what looked like the inside of a

womb.  As the tiny hands took hold of mine in desperation, the hands of the stranger came down on

top of those tiny hands tearing them away and grabbing my hands in an attempt to pull me towards him.  Immediately, I went into spiritual warfare and after some minutes of quoting scripture, he left. 

I was left feeling sad that the tiny little hands were gone too, then the comforting presence of an angel appeared. 

I fell back into a restful sleep.  It is expectant that Satan will come to try and deter us from our mission.  As God's own chosen people we can be confident that the victory is always on our side from the moment we rise, to when we lie down, even in our sleep. 

Allow God to show you how to pray about this dream in the wider context of abortion and for those who are part of this Whistle 24/7 prayer.

The email I forwarded you today, of the picture of the little fingers grasping the surgeon's hands, could be viewed in conjuction with this dream.

We are offering our expertise in prayer to the unborn to save their lives.  As you pray imagine their

little fingers grasping your hand with thankfulness.

SOME OTHER WAYS TO FILL YOUR HOUR:

·         Worship - I don't mind if you spend your hour doing that.  I place a high priority on worship.

·         Pray for the cities/towns you signed up for, and/or adopted, during the 40 days.  

·         Pray for an extended period using you spiritual language.

·         Begin to keep a file of these prayer letters so you can look back and pray again some points.

·         Refer to sections in the 40 days prayer booklet e.g. consequences and effects, and pray them again.

·         Refer to the Whistle website, and pray e.g. items from the prayer reports section.

·         Read/declare aloud, and pray specific portions of scripture.

·         Pray for others who have signed up, and for all the gaps to be taken; for power and authority to be loosed.

God will speak to you!

I am expecting God to show those involved in this 24/7 some of the issues on His heart that He is requiring us to pray.

Please let me know what you believe are such issues, and any specific ways to pray about these - scriptures, or draft a declaration or prayer we can all pray.
