WHISTLE - Letter No 19

16 December, 2008

WHISTLE

·         A branch of HealNZ 24/7 prayer, with a specific focus on prayer regarding abortion in NZ.

·         Announcing "FULL TIME" to abortion in NZ.

·         Arranged by Sue Rowe and The Whistle Team, coordinated from Hamilton.

·         "He lifts up a banner for the distant nations, He whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Here they come swiftly and speedily!"  (Is 5:26)

This will be the final Whistle email letter for 2008.

I expect these to be far less frequent next year depending on news.

THANK YOU AGAIN for being part of the 40 days, for all your input, for receiving these emails.

Without YOU this prayer thrust would not have been so effective.  THANK YOU.

Attached is my recent HealNZ newsletter.

If you would like to pray some of the suggestions that would be great.

Please see the box on page 1 of the attached newsletter.

Currently we have 40+ hours covered by people praying as part of the Whistle 24/7 Abortion Prayer Network.

Could we double that number over the next few weeks?

If you would like to sign up to pray an hour a week please email me naming your preferred hour.

Please give me a phone number in case someone else has that hour and I need to phone you!

I want to acknowledge and thank all those who pray about abortion frequently, but who, for one reason or another,

don't want to sign up for an hour.

Keep going!  I am sure your prayers are helping to fill the gaps in the Whistle 24/7 prayer.

If you run out of things to pray regarding abortion:

look at the 40 days prayer booklet,

or look on the Whistle website,

        or worship the Lord,

or declare aloud some scriptures, relating them specifically to abortion, e.g Ps 119.

The 18th November declaration was also spoken out at the following places:

·         Mt Kau Kau, Wellington, and shofar blown. (See www://trumpet

·         Durie Hill, Wanganui, whistle and 3 shofars blown!

·         Hawera

·         Palmerston North, whistles blown

The Abortion Supervisory Committee's appeal regarding the High Court decision handed down earlier

this year has been set for 6th May, 2009, 10am.

It is important to pray regarding this.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,

so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."  (Rom 15:13)

Blessings,

Sue Rowe
