SECTION ONE:

“Most parents, whether religious or not, believe that everyone needs education in sexuality.  Christians believe that God would not have given us the marvellous gifts of sexuality and reproduction if He had not wanted us to know about them and use them wisely for His greater glory.  Committed Christians and secularists agree on very little beyond this basic point.

The content of the sex-related information that schools present is the main point of disagreement between Christian parents and secular school authorities.

There are basically only three types of sex education.

1. Biological Sex Education limits itself to information on the functioning of the reproductive system.  The primary drawback is that it neglects the spiritual aspect of human beings and treats them as purely physical beings.  It is also virtually impossible to avoid violating the latency period and innocence of young children with any type of sex education.
2. Comprehensive Sex Education teaches children not only about the biological facets of sex, but also about birth control, abortion, masturbation, homosexual behaviour, etc.  It is supposedly ‘value free’ but when an authority figure such as a teacher tells children that no sex act is immoral and that we should not judge others who have ‘different sexual lifestyles’ than ourselves, this, by definition, teaches a completely amoral set of values.  (Here in NZ the Family Planning Assoc does much of the sex education teaching in schools.)
3. Chastity Education gives children the moral and practical instruction they need to resist the pressures and temptations of the world and the inclinations of our fallen nature, and helps them understand God’s precious gift of human sexuality.  To be effective, this kind of instruction cannot stand alone.  It must be part of a lifestyle taught by people who live moral lives, and who present it as a part of an integrated programme on Christian living throughout all the levels of school.”

PRAYER POINTS:

·         Pray for a ground swell of concern by parents to arise regarding the sex education being given in NZ schools by Family Planning, and a deep desire to claim back this part of their children’s lives.  Pray that this process would not be aborted at any stage or in any way.

·         Pray for information and methods to be given to parents so they can educate their children with sensitivity and knowledge.  Pray for the Holy Spirit as counsellor and teacher to brood over every family bringing forth deep desire for, and an understanding of, purity, chastity, virginity, an ability to control one’s sexual drives.  Pray for parents to model these values/virtues.

·         Pray for the innocence of childhood to be restored to children.

·         Pray that the endless addiction to fornication, selfishness, self-centredness and rebellion to God’s ways and His Biblical standards/laws be broken off NZ families.  “Chastity is the spiritual power which frees love from selfishness and aggression…and enables love to advance to its full realization.”

·         Pray for parents, and the Church family, to teach children that abortion is wrong and to outline the reasons why, and the consequences and effects.

·         Pray for NZ families to understand love, the gift of life.

·         Pray for understanding of the whole aspect of contraception and Natural Family Planning.

·         Some scriptures:  1 Cor 13; Gal 5:16-26; Eph 6:1-4, 10-20;

SECTION TWO:

Nearly every family in NZ must be affected by abortion one way or another. 

Demons look for the legal right to enter in.  Death and trauma e.g. through abortion, gives that.  The spirits of murder and death – plus several other ‘companions’ – come in.  These may have been from a previous generation but like physical inheritance these are passed down to our family as a spiritual inheritance.  Unless we have had prayer and deliverance these may be present and will show themselves e.g. through our thoughts and ways we speak murderous, angry words, wishing death on ourselves or others.  There will probably be curses at work also.

Dr Kirkland of Massey Uni “believes it takes 3 generations of positive action to tackle issues of child abuse, the brutality of child deaths, to dig out those roots of destructive relationships.” (Maxim)

I believe that once the spiritual roots are out change can be occur in our generation, but so often just what is on the surface receives attention.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.       Pray for the link between abortion and child abuse, suicides, and other aspects of death in NZ to be revealed and emphasized by key people in NZ; for the destructive spiritual roots to be revealed; for the fruit of anger and murderous actions to be recognised; for true Biblical, Christian deliverance and counselling that stresses repentance and forgiveness, to be given.

2.       Pray for transformation of the mind of mothers (and their support people) so they think LIFE for the preborn baby rather than abortion.  Rom 12:2

3.       Claim back the wombs of this nation to be a sanctuary, a holy, healthy, redeemed place for life.

4.       Pray that every NZ family altar to death, child sacrifice, Molech, Baal, witchcraft, Satanism, convenience, mammon, abortion etc will be pulled down permanently.  Pray that altars of worship to our God will be raised up.  Judges 6 is an example, especially v 25-26.

5.       Pray that the ‘sacrifice’ of Pacific Island children that has occurred over recent months in NZ, e.g. through house fire, shooting by mistake by police, murder, drowning, (+ abortion) will cease.

6.       From Waikato Times: “The cervical cancer vaccine which aims to immunise 300,000 schoolgirls over 5 years began early Feb.  There are 3 doses necessary to protect them against 4 strains of human papilloma virus the main cause of genital warts and cervical cancer. The vaccine should be given to boys as well as girls to protect them and their future partners from genital warts and cancer, public health experts say.”  Pray for wisdom for parents as they consider this vaccination for their children.

7.       Pray regarding the ways conversations, relationships, reconciliations are aborted in families.

8.       Pray the blessings of Deu 28:1-14.

9.       Pray for the fullness of the Kingdom of God to come into families in NZ; for God to impart His strategic plans to combat the inroads the enemy has made in families, to close the doors.

10.   You might feel the need to pray the prayer at the end of this letter to break any curse on your family from abortion.

Two people recently made comments about the ultimate test of any civilisation is what it does with/to its children.  One said we must pray for men, fathers in families.  The role of fathers in families has been aborted largely by the feminist movement and their agenda, and then perverted by the homosexual agenda.

1.       Pray for fathers to be honoured, respected, to once again fulfil their God-ordained role.

2.       Deu 5:16, Eph 6:23, Mal 4:5-6

3.       Pray for the strongholds, the mindsets to be broken down, and transformed. Rom 12:2

SECTION THREE:

PRAY FOR ISRAEL – (info from The Jerusalem Post Christian Edition Nov ‘07)

“According to stats about 50,000 fetuses are aborted annually in Israel.  Female soldiers are offered 3 abortions without cost.  There is no cut off date so late term abortions are common.  To put the stats in context, 1,300 Israelis have been killed by terrorist acts or war since the year 2000, while about 300,000 fetuses have been aborted.  One source estimates that 1.5m children have been aborted since the establishment of the state (1948).  Most women cite financial concerns as the reason for abortion.  There are 3 main pro-life helping agencies and one in particular offers free baby equipment and food for the first year.  Deu 30:19-20 is the key verse for another agency.”

H, Wanganui wrote: “Israel is the key.  The more we stand for Israel and her chn, the less abortions there will be worldwide.  Many lives will be saved if Israel is held up to God on a daily basis.”

HONEY BEE ‘FAMILY’ (an optional extra for prayer)

Could this be an example of consequences and effects of abortion flowing from humans to nature?

“Honey bees are in trouble and by extension so is the human race.  Last winter over 36% of the US bee colonies collapsed, affecting honey production that requires pollination – from fruits and nuts, to the dairy and beef cows that feed on alfalfa.  Now Israeli-US company Beeologics is taking rapid measure to bring to the market a proprietary anti-viral agent that promises to alleviate the effects of the virus strongly associated with Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).

CCD is characterized by the mysterious and inexplicable loss of worker bees in managed honey bee colonies.  There is often still honey in the hive, and a few immature bees, but the adult bees have vanished.  It was first noticed as a problem in 2006-7, when US beekeepers began reporting losses of 30-90% of their hives.  Now, similar losses are being reported in countries across Europe.

The cause of CCD is unclear.  Some are convinced it is connected to the Varroa bee mite, others suspect a single cell parasite or a virus.  Some even blame pesticides or cell phones.  None of these suspected causes bear up to close scrutiny.  One virus strongly associated with CCD is Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus (IAPV), identified by a Hebrew University plant virologist professor in 2004.  It causes honey bees to suffer from shivering wings, followed by paralysis and death outside the hive.

At Beeologics, scientists are convinced that IAPV is the primary cause of CCD.  ‘If you look how the disease spreads, it’s very reminiscent of flu.  Flu also starts in the autumn and hits hard in the winter, the same is true of this bee virus.  It’s very contagious like a flue.  In our opinion, we have something that’s interacting very strongly with the environment to cause CCD’.

Beeologics’ solution, called Remebee, utilizes a mechanism called RNA interference (RNAi, also known as gene silencing) a mechanism that inhibits or hinders gene expression.  ‘The technology is based on naturally occurring biological agents that prompt the silencing response.  As far as we know we are among the first to use it commercially on non-humans’.  Remebee provides protection from IAPV and other bee viruses, is non-toxic, and leaves no residues in either honeybees or their honey.”

About 22% of all pregnancies in USA end in abortion.  This is causing the collapse of human families.  Could the ‘something that’s interacting very strong with the environment to cause CCD’ be the spirit of death loosed over that nation because of abortion?

Our anti-viral agent is prayer!  We are taking rapid measures to combat this abortion trouble.

Let’s pray protection over the bee families in NZ from the spirit of death; protection over the plants that require pollination to produce the crop, and protection over our honey industry.
