HEALTH ARENA

SECTION ONE:

The Waikato District Health Board in a recent publication had a big black heading:

“HELP ARREST THESE KILLERS – top 10 avoidable causes of death in the Waikato”.

Heart Disease is the top killer.  But of course they do not list abortion although it is the true top killer and an issue of the heart.

PRAYER POINTS:

·         Continue to bring Minister of Health, Hon Tony Ryall, before the Lord, together with all who work alongside him and those who advise and research.  Pray for ALL truth concerning abortion to be made available to them, for consultations with pro-life people to become common place, for the veils covering hearts and minds to be lifted off permanently (2 Cor 3:14-18, the previous way of looking at abortion is like the old covenant which needs to be removed), Prov 2:1-11.

·         Pray for doctors, nurses and counsellors who are part of the process of abortion: for honesty concerning the ways abortion is affecting them, how their consciences have been seared, and their soul hardened.  Pray for the rain of the Holy Spirit to fall to soften them, a return of compassion, an awakening to how they are supporting a culture of death.  Today they would choose life. (Deut 30:19)  Pray for increasing numbers of doctors and nurses to refuse to be involved in abortion and for the door to be closed so that staff will not be hired from overseas to fill the gaps.  Pray for God to put the divine squeeze on abortion, a divine interruption on the step-by-step process of abortion for individual women, a divine frustration of purposes.  Ps 33:10-11

·         Pray for an exposing of ALL that has been hidden concerning abortion; the true statistics, the true consequences and effects of abortion on NZ, the true spiritual flow on of curses.  Pray that “ALL kinds of deceit and trickery, and the perverting of the right ways of the Lord” (Acts 13:10) will ALL be exposed, and that the process of justice, as these are dealt with, will not be aborted in any way.

·         Pray that women considering an abortion will be offered the opportunity of viewing a scan of her baby, that the truth of the reality of life and stage of development will not be aborted but honestly made clear.  Pray that the ASC will favourably address this issue.

·         Pray the attached sheets listing the places where abortions take place in NZ, the number of consultants (see the website for actual names), and the ASC functions.

·         Pray for “God to part the heavens and come down” and the dismantle the altars to child sacrifice at each abortion clinic in NZ; pray for all connected with and influenced by each clinic to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus.  Heb 13:12, Ps 144

·         Proclaim:  “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.  Now have come the salvation, and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ” into ALL aspects of the abortion issue in the Health Arena in NZ.  (Matt 4:17, Rev 12:10)

·         Let’s look for what God is doing in the Health Arena, especially regarding abortion, and honour Him, thank Him, praise and worship Him for He is worthy, He is holy.          Maybe write and support those who are quietly working away at the coal face and encourage them for their pro-life stance.

SECTION TWO:

·         A number of pro-life groups in NZ interact with the Dept of Health, MPs, Health Boards, media, etc, requesting information, spreading information to alert the public, keeping these bodies ‘on their toes’ and accountable.  Pray for protection, timing of contact, growth in wisdom and favour (Luke 2:52) that will result in a growing sphere of influence in NZ regarding abortion, encouragement in the battle, provision for every God-strategy.  Ps 149:6-9

·          

Many have direct contact with women who have had an abortion, who are hurting, feeling confused, devastated, and need healing of this raw area of their lives.  Pray for great sensitivity, love and compassion, and for deliverance that will bring deep, long-lasting healing of body, soul and spirit.

      Pray for divine creativity and new angles in getting the abortion/life message across.

Most of these groups were represented at a “Coalition For Life” meeting in Auckland last December.  Pray for relationships and understanding, humility and unity within this coalition.

God will have a future strategy and we need to have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, and boldness to obey, so the abortion statistics change and the health of NZ is improved.

Voice for Life held a meeting in Hamilton on 30^th March to resurrect the branch out of recess.  Please pray for the secure establishment of this branch, support by local churches, and divine direction of how to proceed in promotion of life.
